Some journeys are easier to remember as a sequence of photographs. In the Algarve, we followed small changes in light, the shapes between buildings and the spaces where a walk naturally slows down.

Following the light

The first frame gives the place a shape. The next one asks a different question: what happens at its edges, and what might be missed by moving on too quickly? These photographs invite a closer look without asking every scene to explain itself.

Between the frames

A photographic notebook can hold contrast: open views beside smaller details, busy spaces beside quiet ones. Leave enough room between pictures for the reader to bring their own observations.

What remains

On another day, the same place would become a different story. That is part of the pleasure of looking. The photographs shown here are credited to their individual creators; the editorial narrative is illustrative demo copy.
